Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed version of your password. We never store passwords in plain text.
Company and Billing Details: If you choose a business account, request a quote or buy a paid plan, we store your company name, billing address, VAT ID and, where given, a PO number. We pass them to our payment provider Stripe to create invoices and keep them as long as tax law requires.
Quote Requests and Support: Quote requests and support emails are handled in our help desk, where we keep the conversation so we can answer follow-up questions.
Emails: We send account emails (welcome, password reset, invoices and receipts, renewal notices) through our email provider Postmark. These are transactional emails tied to your account.
Calendar Content: We store the content you add to your calendars, including text, links, and uploaded media files.
Usage Data: We collect anonymized analytics data including page views and door opens, using hashed IP addresses that cannot be traced back to individual users.
Log Data: Our servers may automatically log standard information such as your browser type, access times, and referring URLs.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Create and manage your account
- Display your calendars to visitors you share them with
- Provide analytics on calendar and door engagement (for premium users)
- Communicate with you about your account or the Service
- Improve and develop the Service
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. Uploaded media files are stored in persistent, access-controlled storage.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties, except:
- When required by law or legal process
- To protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property
- With service providers who assist in operating the Service (hosting, content delivery, payments, email), under strict data processing agreements
If you order a personal Christmas song, the details you enter in the song form (names, memories, preferences) and your email address are passed to our technical song production provider solely to create and deliver your song. Payments are processed by Stripe. Song orders are kept for at least 90 days so you can download your song again. Emails about your song (delivery and, while the song is not bought, at most three reminders) are sent through Postmark (ActiveCampaign, LLC); every reminder contains an unsubscribe link.
If you run a calendar for a business and your visitors enter personal data (for example in a giveaway or survey), you are the controller for that data and we process it on your behalf under our Data Processing Agreement.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can delete your calendars at any time through your dashboard. To request deletion of your account, please contact us at [email protected].
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for session management and authentication. These are necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled.
8. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
